The French natural cosmetics company Le Rouge Français has opened its first stand-alone store in Paris. Located at 16 rue de Turenne in the Marais district, the store is a retail space and immersive showroom.

Founded in 2019 by Élodie Carpentier and Salem Ghezaili, the company has certified organic colour cosmetics.
The vegan formulations replaces petrochemicals with natural ingredients like rice wax and apple skin. It also uses natural pigments anthocyanins sourced from red algae.
Le Rouge Français is building distribution for its certified natural cosmetic range. In addition to its website, the products are in around 100 international outlets (including Neiman Marcus and Credo Beauty in the US). In France, its products will soon be in 50 Nocibé stores.
Backed by investors such as Obratori and BNP Développement, the company has launched a EUR 1.5 million crowdfunding campaign via Tudigo to finance business expansion.
